The 2018 Free Snowmobile Avalanche Seminars & Shows Schedule is Here

Sledders: Backcountry Access is pleased to announce the 2018 free BRP Ski-Doo Avalanche Education Seminars and Snowmobile Shows Schedule in the U.S. and Canada.  Starting in October 2018, BCA sled ambassadors Mike Duffy and Marshall Dempster will be travelling North America to give over 50 free avalanche awareness courses specific for snowmobilers.

Mike Duffy of Avalanche1, a recognized snowmobile expert in avalanche awareness, leads classes in the United States. Mike has American Avalanche Association Level I & II and AvPro level III certification has been providing snowmobile-specific avalanche classes since 1996.

Marshall Dempster of Frozen Pirate Snow Services, a recognized avalanche professional, will lead the Canadian classes.  Marshall is a member of the Canadian Avalanche Association (CAA), a professional forecaster and AST 2 certified instructor.

BRP Ski-Doo is paying for snowmobilers avalanche education by sponsoring nearly 60 free seminars throughout North America. The seminars offer a mix of classroom and interactive content for riders of all skill levels. Open to all levels and ages of snowmobilers, sledders are encouraged to bring their friends and riding buddies to ensure that those they ride with are well informed (even if they ride other brands.)  Backcountry Access and the Backcountry Ascender online education platform are joining BRP in sponsoring the free snowmobile skills training events again this year.
