The Stash Throttle has daisy chain style loops on the front that allow you to hang gear with carabiners. There are four additional zipper pockets for extra storage and organization. Two of them are located on the bottom sides of the pack and the others are on the front of the pack. A lined goggle pocket allows for safe storage for either your goggles or sunglasses. There is a dedicated pocket for your avalanche gear that includes sleeves for your probe, shovel handle and blade. There is also a zipper pouch for miscellaneous items. Load lifters on the top of the shoulder straps allow for carrying heavier loads comfortably. The waist strap is padded with two hip stash pockets, and the sternum strap adjusts up and down. Compression straps on the sides of the pack allow the pack to cinch down to make it lower profile. The back panel is made of a stiff breathable foam and has a zipper on the side for rear access into the main compartment.
How much volume does this pack have?
The Stash Throttle is a 35-liter pack that is geared toward snowmobilers due to the lack of a ski or snowboard carry system.
What is the compatibility with BCA shovels and probes?
The Stash Throttle is compatible with all of our shovels and probes except for the Arsenal probe system shaft and the B-52 shaft. Both shafts will not fit in the dedicated sleeves but will fit in the main storage compartment.
What is the best use for the pack?
The Stash Throttle is a great pack for snowmobilers who are doing full days in the backcountry.
