Tracker DTS

The First. The Easiest.
In 1997, the Tracker DTS revolutionized the transceiver market by introducing digital, dual antenna technology. Since then, it has become the world’s best-selling transceiver. That’s for a simple reason: it’s the easiest to use.

Tracker DTS™ Features

weight: approximately 12.8 ounces/363 grams including strap and batteries; 8.6 ounces/245 grams without
dimensions: 5.2x3.4x1 inches/13.2x8.6x2.5 cm
Tracker DTS is the easiest beacon on the market because of its rapid processor and simple user interface. A real-time, digital display shows both direction and distance with bright red LEDs (light emitting diodes). The distance is shown in meters and indicator lights display the direction of transmitting beacons. The Tracker also has an efficient, reliable multiple-burial system as well as proven durability. This avalanche beacon runs on three AAA alkaline batteries and comes with a protective carrying case.

Real Time Display

Tracker DTS is the only digital display beacon with real-time display. Distance and direction are shown instantly as the victim’s transmit pulse is being sent. This provides faster, more precise pinpointing than delayed-display beacons. With real-time display the lowest distance reading is shown directly over the victim. With delayed display, the lowest reading is often well past the victim, especially if the searcher is moving fast. Probing and digging in the wrong place can decrease the chances of survival.
