Our goal is to save lives, not just sell products. We invest more in education than we do on advertising. Here are a few of our programs:

• Cutting edge research on avalanche statistics and rescue techniques.
• 60 BCA Beacon Training parks worldwide for easy practicing.
• An easy-to-read Avalanche Awareness Guide in all of our catalogs.
• Our updated DVD, "Take Charge: Leading a Companion Rescue."
• Downloadable point-of-purchase displays that illustrate how to most effectively use a beacon, probe and shovel.
• Educational hangtags: most BCA products come with a removable Companion Rescue Guide printed on the hangtag.
• Avalanche education tours: our reps and distributors are professionals who provide avalanche awareness programs in their regions.
• We support a variety of avi education programs, particularly for youth.
