Float Fest! BCA Launches Airbag Deployment Contest

Posted on December 1st, 2013 by | 1 Comment

Just like practicing with your avalanche beacon at least once a year, we recommend testing your Float airbag. Pulling the trigger to test the function of the Float not only lets you know how it works, but also lets you know how hard to pull if you ever really need to inflate your bag. Fortunately, it is really easy to refill your canister: we have a network of more than 200 refill and exchange centers worldwide, all listed here: http://www.backcountryaccess.com/air .

To encourage you to test your bag, we would like to announce a new photo/video contest on Instagram and Facebook. How to Participate: 1) Grab your camera and Float Airbag. 2) Pull the trigger! Creativity Counts. 3) Post your photo or video on our Facebook Wall or upload to Instagram and tag with #FLOATFEST and @BACKCOUNTRYACCESS . 4) We will pick our favorite image and video and the two winners will win their choice of any one poduct we make. Second place will win a BCA Stash pack, and third place gets a BCA Duffel.
