Whirlwind of a week: BCC / Salt Lake / OR

Another season of tradeshows has begun, and as always, it’s busy for us. Busy in a great way though- our new products coming out next season have been well received and are generating some buzz. Before it all began though, I decided to come out for a few days to see what all the whining was about with the Wasatch snowpack. I must say, even though it wasn’t phenomenal, if you knew what aspect to get on it was pretty good, and it certainly wasn’t as bad as Colorado has been… The first day entailed a nice long tour up Silver Fork and over onto Flagstaff, with some deep and fun facets on the northeastern slopes. Then we went over into Wolverine Cirque to scope some couloirs, most of them were out but a few held some firm snow. At this point though I’m sure this latest snow has made them pretty sketchy. After that we cruised over to Epic Brewing, an upstart brewery where my buddy Rio works; if you’re in Salt Lake and thirsty for a brew, make it a point to stop in, they’re amazing- and really well stocked! On Monday we set up our sweet new booth, complete with wood floors and spanking new airbags. So far the show has been downright excellent, with many of the major players coming through and giving nods to all the new innovations. More photos to come soon!
