The Alpine Trekker: From Farm to Table

Even though it’s sizzling outside, it’s that time of year when we’re thinking about the upcoming ski season. Our shop guys are busy building up the Alpine Trekkers for store deliveries so they’ll be ready to carry people out into the backcountry. The Alpine Trekker was BCA’s first product ever, conceived in 1994, the stork delivered (aka UPS) them to store shelves in 1995. With the recent popularity in high-end freeride skiing, the Trekker remains a viable product for those starting out in the backcountry or experienced skiers who want to keep their trusty alpine equipment with them to hit gnarly lines.
